Lakeside is a private center providing assessment and early intervention for children with autism spectrum and related disorders in the greater Seattle area. Our interdisciplinary team of Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Developmental Therapists, and Special Educators provides the most up-to-date, evidence based intervention methods while maintaining communication and support with families. We have created a safe place for families to come, learn and grow with their children.

1.Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist, full time
Qualifications: Masters degree in speech and language pathology or equivalent. Minimum one year experience. Experience with individuals on the autism spectrum, knowledge of treatment philosophies (DIR, ABA etc.) preferred. Certificate of Clinical competence, Washington state licensure or eligible for state license.
2. Pediatric Occupational Therapist, full time
Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university. Licensed as a OT in the State of Washington. Ability to work with parents and staff in multi-disciplinary teams. At least 6 months experience in working with children with developmental disabilities.
3. Volunteer Positions
We are always looking for qualified volunteers to help out in our preschool and throughout the center. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please email in your resume and cover letter.
4. Substitute Teaching Positions
We have several open positions for our subsitute teaching need to help as support staff in our preschool. We are in need of on-call staff for our preschool in the event that an employee is out sick or on vacation. Teaching assist and will support Lead Teacher in implementing intervention strategies, classroom management, material management and data collection. 5. Preschool Teaching Assistant, full time (32 hrs)
Description: Support staff for developmental preschool that is in session Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30-5:30. Teaching assistant will support the professional preschool staff in implementing intervention strategies, classroom management, material management and data collection for the assigned child. Must have experience working with young children. Previous work with children with autism or other special needs preferred.
